What If… The Wu-Tang Clan Open Up A Chinese Take-Out Joint?
“Think for a second: Over the past few years, Shaolin’s Finest have become more than just a ‘rap group’; they are an empire, finding financial success in everything from fashion and film to video games and nail salons. So it wouldn’t seem too outrageous if the Clan were to venture into culinary arts. Although the Wu haven’t made that step as of yet, what if they did? Could you imagine the menu? Nah? Well, don’t even wet that. The SOURCE took a minute to compile a few of the potential dishes that the Clan could cook up in their Shaolin kitchen. So grab some extra packets of duck sauce and dig in.”—- Ordered by Anslem Samuel

The Legendary Hip Hop Rapper Heavy D (Dwight Arrington Myers) dies at the early age of 44 years.
According to Rosen, Heavy D “was returning home from shopping. He experienced difficulty breathing while walking into his condominium building. He was being assisted up to his apartment by building personnel when he collapsed in an exterior hallway.” (via Huffington Post)
An associate of Heavy D’s told TMZ that he died of pneumonia.
*sighs*
When I heard the news of Heavy D’s death at work today, I have to admit I was really sad. Every time I saw Heavy D he reminded me of my Uncle David & my dad for some reason. There was some resemblance but not a whole lot. And to think, that he passed away so young was a little mind bothering too. That just confirms that life can be taken at anytime and not to take it for granted.
The last time I saw Heavy D was at the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards making his first appearance performing back on stage. He performed his greatest hits: “Nuttin’ But Love” , “Is It Good to You” , and “Now That We Found Love”.
Time has really flown by.
R.I.P. Heavy D. You will truly be missed. You, the suave attitude, swagger, and dance movements. Below you can watch Heavy D’s last performance aired at the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards featuring Tyrese:

I’m usually not a fan of really busy colorways on my kicks, but I’m kinda feeling these Spizike’s for some reason. They have a real retro 90’s “In Living Color” vibe to them. I know a lot of people are going to pass on these because they are stuck in a box, but I think it would be a mistake. I want to know how you feel about these, so hit the comments up! -VK- @Koolkidvk
